Agent Red uses a transparent pricing model combining a fixed platform fee with metered AI usage. This page explains how billing works.
Your Subscription Plan
Your plan determines your monthly platform fee, included conversation allowance, overage rate, and available features.

How Conversations Are Billed
Billing follows a three-tier priority:
- Included allowance — Conversations are first consumed from your plan's monthly included allowance
- Conversation packs — After included allowance is exhausted, pre-purchased pack credits are consumed (FIFO order)
- Overage — Conversations beyond both included and pack balance are billed at your tier's overage rate

Conversation Packs
Pre-purchase conversation credits at discounted rates. Packs are consumed after your included allowance and before overage billing.

Packs are consumed in FIFO (first-in, first-out) order. Unused credits expire after 90 days.
Usage Dashboard
The Billing page shows real-time usage for your current billing period:
- Conversations used — Total billable conversations with a usage ring showing percentage of included allowance consumed
- Pack balance — Remaining pre-purchased conversation credits
- Current overage — Dollar amount of overage charges accrued this period
- Estimated overage cost — Projected total overage cost based on current usage trends
- Daily usage chart — 30-day view of total and billable conversations per day
Add-On Modules
Enhance your Agent Red installation with optional add-on modules. Each module is billed monthly and can be added or removed at any time. Available modules depend on your subscription tier.

Modules marked as unavailable for your current tier display an upgrade prompt. To unlock additional modules, upgrade your subscription plan.
Managing Your Subscription
Subscription changes (upgrades, downgrades, cancellation) are managed through the billing portal. Contact support for custom Enterprise pricing or volume discounts.
